Trends has it's way of coming back. This cute cropped top trend is back once again. My grandmother tells me she sported this look waaaaay back when she was still a young lady like me. Must be nostalgic for them to see people dress the same again as they were before. hihi 

Anyway about this look, I wanted to wear something lady-like that day because I'm attending a beauty event: ZA Cosmetics. (will blog about the launch on my next post) I wanted to wear this cropped top since it's been hanging inside my closet since my birthday. Went shopping for basics on my birthday week. Glad I thought of a way to use this cropped top in a lady-like manner. I wore this black skater skirt with it. I wore it in high waist so it won't look too revealing. The use of gold accessories matched this Red and Black look perfectly! Plus my animal printed heels made it look classy and elegant. I'm so happy that I wore this that day because it's scorching hot outside. Speaking of cropped tops, I think these are very versatile pieces. You can wear it in different occasions. You can layer blazers or vests to look formal or for the cold weather and you can just wear it with shorts, skirts, or pants for a casual look. Style tip? Wear it with a high-waisted bottom for a more conservative and classy look!

This is what I wore last Friday for Supersale Bazaar's first day at the World Trade Center. This is my first time to post something in camou print. I have two versions of this outfit, the first is the one where in I'm wearing heels and the second look is the one wearing flats. Besides  flaunting this cute pair of flats from Impulse Co, I really can't stand to wear this pair of killer booties all day. I know these booties are sexy but it's painful if I wear it all day. Thanks to this pair of flats from Impulse Co.!

Have you visited SuperSale Bazaar last weekend? I think it's one of the best bazaars SuperSale had! There are a lot of cheap and good items! Almost every booth have awesome items on sale! Surprisingly, a lot of people came to think every mall in town is having their mid year sale! If you missed the bazaar last weekend, make sure you go to the next! I swear, it's one of the best bazaars in the metro!

This is what I wore last Bloggers United 5! Since I'm part of the BU5 team, I know we're going to be busy so I wore something comfy yet chic. I wore sneaker wedges during the morning because I can't manage to run around and man the registration booth at all times wearing this sexy pair of heels. I just wore this later that afternoon. I seldom pull off this look, the "Grunge" look. I always look so glam and girly so I'm really excited to wear this ensemble that day. 

By the way, don't you just love my jacket? It's vintage! I got it from my Grandmother! She has the nicest clothes! Notice the *yaman look* that this jacket brings haha!

And of course, my newest favorite is my SUITEBLANCO purse!!! The salmon pink and gold went really good together! The purse looks so lovely :( :) haha! Don't forget to check out SUITEBLANCO at SM Aura Premier! I swear, they have really nice and unique clothes! Plus, they're super affordable!:)

First of all, I'm so sorry for my blogging hiatus for the past few weeks. Even though I'm not doing anything anymore, I just feel so giddy about graduating and I can't focus on blogging. haha! Been spending most of my time with college friends.

Good Dress Up How to Wear Sneaker Wedges. ELENABLOG

Yes! I'm wearing sneakers! haha! I'm not the sneakers type of girl. You would usually see me wearing flats, sandals or heels. I just wear sneakers whenever I go jogging, when I hit the gym and waaay back when I still have PE classes. 

I think sneakers are chunky and makes me feel so little since I'm not blessed with model-esque height. So I don't wear sneakers most of the time and prefer sky high heels instead. That's why I'm so happy when I finally found the perfect type of sneakers for me!!! Sneaker Wedges! When I heard of it at first, I was like, "OMG Finally! A type of sneaks for petite girls like me. I can look tall even though I'm wearing this chunky pair of shoes." Admit it, most of us are not sneaker lovers because of it's chunky/bulky structure that makes you look smaller. I'm not even the sporty type of girl so I don't see any reason why I have to wear it. I'm so thankful for these sneaker wedges!!:)

Wore this outfit to Enchanted Kingdom last December. I need a comfortable outfit so I can roam around the park easily. 

Dressing up for these pretty shoes can be really tricky. You have to choose the right outfit to make you look tall since sneakers are very chunky. Wrong choice of clothes might make your legs look fat and short. I've googled some tips on how to wear your sneaker wedges, so now I'm going to share what I learned. :)

WEAR SKINNY JEANS

Since sneaker wedges are chunky, you have to balance it by looking slender and long. Skinny jeans are fitted enough to show your legs so you can still look stylish when wearing sneaker wedges. Another trick is to tuck the end of the jeans to your sneaks so your legs will look thinner.


EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR PRINTED PANTS

Who says you can't wear your favorite printed pants with sneaker wedges? Of course you can! You just have to make sure that your pair of sneaks are in one color only. You have to consider that your pants will produce a lot of colors and patterns so you have to balance it off with your one color sneaks.

 BE FEMININE WITH A MAXI SKIRT OR A HIGH- LOW SKIRT

Sneakers make you look sporty so give your outfit a feminine touch with a high-low/mullet or maxi skirt. The long illusion that the skirt gives you is perfect to balance the large effect of your sneaker wedges.

 KEEP IT SHORT

 Short skirts and shorts are perfect for sneaker wedges since they show your legs. The more you show your legs, the taller you would look like. Again it balances the chunky effect of the sneaks so your legs won't look fat and short.


Another tip is, try wear blazers or jackets just like the 3rd photo. Since you're already wearing a short skirt, balance the chunkiness from below and make a scene on the upper part of your body. Layer off a jacket,  blazer or a pull over.

Now, we all know how to wear these pretty pair of sneakers! Glad to share these tips with you guys and I hope you learned from what I shared. Anyway, I'm back with school works. It's our preliminary exams week so I have a lot of studying to do! I'm just taking a break by working on my back logs. I'll post a series of fashion how-to tips next time!:)
