Good Dress Up Thigh High. ELENABLOG

The thigh high slit made its comeback during the late half of 2013. I've posted an outfit last year wearing a thigh high slit skirt as well but I'm posting one again now. I can't get enough of this trend! I love how it's conservative yet sexy. Conservative because of the skirt length and sexy because of, well the slit showing your smooth stems! You know what they say, if you got it, flaunt it! I may not have the skinniest of legs but I'm confident that it's proportion to my body and it's scar-less. When I was a kid, my grandma hates it when I fall and marks a scab on my knee. I make sure not to touch it that much so it won't leave a scar. Taking care of your legs is a must! Living in a tropical country, you just don't want to wear pants all the time right?:))

I wanted to give this look a twist by not looking so feminine. So I matched this skirt with my sporty pullover and I was surprised that it worked! It's sexy yet sporty! Ha! ;)

So that's my take on the sexy skirt. Your turn! How would you style a thigh high slit skirt? Post a look and tweet me/ comment your links below!:)

Good Dress Up Make A Scene. ELENABLOG

Top, FOREVER 21. Skirt, DIY. Bag, CHLOE EDIT by ZALORA. Heels, JELLYBEAN. Earrings, LANDMARK.

So this is going to be my first blog post to start off the week. The past week has been soooo exhausting but fun at the same time. It was Philippine Fashion Week and The Superb Bazaar once again. Besides those two week-long happenings, there are also events outside SMX. Oh diba, ang daming ganap! Kaya gow eto na!

This is what I wore last Saturday to the Wacoal Perfect Fit Party, Superb Bazaar and the Giordano show at Phil. Fashion Week. It was a day of events! I wanted to dress up something nice and girly because I'm attending this Wacoal party and I bet it would be an all girls event since we're talking about intimates. I paired my black cropped top with my D.I.Y. High slit maxi skirt! Yes it's a cropped top, I just wore it differently. Tip yan para di halatang umuulit ng clothes, oha?;) Yes, my thigh high slit skirt is a D.I.Y.! It's a boring maxi skirt that I found inside the closet. I wanted to give it a spin so I just cut it out and voila! I have a sexy slit! haha! Show off your stems and try it!;)

By the way, don't you just love my bag? This is my newest favorite! It's a Chloe Edit bag from Zalora! You can check it out, they have other colors! I chose this color because it can go with anything! It's spacious as well and it looks so expensive right? The shape is like the famous Celine bag. You should get one! The material is nice plus it's affordable!:)

Have you noticed my background? haha These outfit shots were taken along Ayala Ave. Yes, a lot of people were passing by as we take our photos! haha eksena! Oh well, I'm getting used to it, we do this all the time, we just don't mind the people passing even though they call you or they say hi, deadma! makakuha lang ng outfit shots!haha The walkway and the people passing by added drama to my photos pa! LOL

Good Dress Up The Girl in the Green Skirt. ELENABLOG

Familiar with my blog post title? I know most of you have watched the movie or have read the book Confessions of a Shopaholic already. If you havent, let me give you a quick introduction. In the book/movie Rebecca Bloomwood, the lead role is a shopaholic that wanted to work for Alette, a fashion magazine but became a writer for a financial magazine, Successful Savings instead. She became popular with her first column for the magazine and she was named The Girl in the Green Scarf. Its one of my favorite fashion related movies thats why I thought incorporating it with my blog post since Im wearing green! Haha! I dont wear green that much but in the past few days, I find the color attractive and have decided to wear it more.

This is what I wore last Saturday, October 5, 2013. Event-filled day, so I have to come up with a chic look that I can survive wearing the whole day. Ill tell you more about the Estee Lauder event and GoPaktor Bloggers Hang out by Nuffnang Philippines that Ive attended on my next post.

Ive noticed that pencil skirts are having a comeback. The trend is just all over fashion blogs, magazines, online shops, and instagram accounts of many fashion savvy ladies out there. A pencil skirt is a very staple piece; you can wear it in many ways. You can wear it in casual, formal or corporate. I love my new pencil skirt with the asymmetric frill detail! The shape is just so sexy that it highlights your hips and legs.

Since pencil skirts are on trend this season, time to invest on these staple pieces. You can visit and shop at Zalora! They have pencil skirts in different prints and colors! From a simple black for a day in the office to a floral one for your weekend with friends! Plus, theyre also having their Great Shoe Sale! Make sure to check out their heels like the one Im wearing in this post! These kinds of heels look so chic in everything! And since I'm a Zalora Brand Ambassador, I can treat you guys a special discount! You can use this code to avail a discount of 15% off when you shop at Zalora! CODE: ZBAP0Gt
Visit for more fashionable pieces! Happy Shopping! :)

Good Dress Up Grunge. ELENABLOG

Shirt, Von Dutch | Leather peplum shorts, Kirin Kirin at the Supersale Bazaar

Jacket, Mom's Closet

Purse, SUITEBLANCO | Gold Cuff, HissBliss Fashion

 Heels, Jellybean
Photography by Catch Gaviola

This is what I wore last Bloggers United 5! Since I'm part of the BU5 team, I know we're going to be busy so I wore something comfy yet chic. I wore sneaker wedges during the morning because I can't manage to run around and man the registration booth at all times wearing this sexy pair of heels. I just wore this later that afternoon. I seldom pull off this look, the "Grunge" look. I always look so glam and girly so I'm really excited to wear this ensemble that day.

By the way, don't you just love my jacket? It's vintage! I got it from my Grandmother! She has the nicest clothes! Notice the *yaman look* that this jacket brings haha!

And of course, my newest favorite is my SUITEBLANCO purse!!! The salmon pink and gold went really good together! The purse looks so lovely :( :) haha! Don't forget to check out SUITEBLANCO at SM Aura Premier! I swear, they have really nice and unique clothes! Plus, they're super affordable!:)

What's your BU5 outfit? Lemme see! Comment your links below!:)

BTW, I'll be blogging about a play from Dulaang UP entitled, 'Adarna'. Stay Tuned!:)

Good Dress Up Sparkle in Monochrome. ELENABLOG

Sequined Top, Forever 21 | Maxi Skirt, Thrifted

 Earrings, SM Accessories

 Shoes, Jellybean

This is my Superb by SuperSale Bazaar/ Phil Fashion Week Day 1 outfit. Feeling a bit lazy to dress up so I opted for a top and skirt ensemble. To break the ice, I wore this sequined top so I won't look too plain. I also opted minimal use of accessories and just wore this pair of gorgeous earrings from SM Accessories! Such a great find!:)

Thank you Christine Liwag for these photos!
