Known for its collaboration with different renowned Filipino artists, Freeway is honored to launch the National Artist Collector�s Series for Fall 2013.  Freeway celebrates Lucio San Pedro's 100th Birth Centennial with the brand's collection of awe-inspiring pieces beaming with Filipino pride. It�s no surprise that the 9th National Artist chosen to pay homage for this series is a man full of talent and ingenuity. Lucio San Pedro, National Artist for Music, is a great Filipino composer and teacher. Known for his composition of the widely popular lullaby �Sa Ugoy ng Duyan� (in collaboration with another National Artist, Levi Celerio) and the symphonic poem �Lahing Kayumanggi�, Lucio San Pedro has paved the Pinoy world of music with plenty of his beautiful compositions bearing national soul. For the collection, it is composed of a wide array of casual to work tops and dresses using fabrics such as satinized twills, matte charmeuse, poplins and knits.  The unique cuts and styles made out of different fabric combinations are carefully crafted to flatter the woman's figure without sacrificing comfort by using mostly stretch fabrications. As for its visual prowess, the collection combines floral inspirations with hand drawn lines and curves fused with lyrics and titles of San Pedro�s famous orchestra pieces. Colors range from the basic black and white to subtle tones such as beige and teal. Certainly, these pieces are made to capture the essence and mark of the Filipina's modern beauty.

Philippine Fashion Week Day 3/ Superb Bazaar Day 3 outfit! I-aachieve ko talaga ang sparkles the whole week.haha I feel so athletic in this outfit. I think it's because of the shorts and the sneaks. Wanted to pull off the athletic look but I turned out to be more glam and girly more than athletic hihi. I think it's because of the sparkles. My friend, Cams even told me I could pass as a beacon in this outfit. They can see me from afar. :))

This is my Superb by SuperSale Bazaar/ Phil Fashion Week Day 1 outfit. Feeling a bit lazy to dress up so I opted for a top and skirt ensemble. To break the ice, I wore this sequined top so I won't look too plain. I also opted minimal use of accessories and just wore this pair of gorgeous earrings from SM Accessories! Such a great find!:)

Right after the bloggers bazaar, Bloggers United, together with SMX Convention Center�s Great Luxe Sale, will be holding The Fashion Blogger, the team�s very first seminar/workshop on fashion, photography, and blogging!

Meet and learn from fashion bloggers Camille Co, David Guison, Laureen Uy, Kryz Uy, and Lissa Kahayon on June 2, Sunday, from 1-5pm, at the SMX Meeting Rooms 4-6. BU organizers Aisa Ipac and Ana Gonzales will also be giving a talk on uncluttering your closets, styling tips, and fashion writing. Tickets are available for P400 in all SM Cinemas nationwide, and during Bloggers United 5.
